DoodleliDu emphasize the richness of nature's gifts. However, our planet Earth offers so much more than just keeping us alive. It provides us with abundantly beautiful natural gifts. Humans have always loved to surround themselves with the richness of gold, mineral stones and pearls.

I participated at an art-contest of the Museum Mauritshuis in The Hague to create my own version of 'The Girl with the Pearl' made by famous Dutch Painter Vermeer. I am honoured that my creation has been selected from 3500 artworks, and will be part of this special feature at the museum.

My 'Girl with a Pearl' - I would rather name it - my 'Pearl with a Girl'
will be exhibited at the Mauritshuis from the 22nd till 29th of May.
